Cela fait longtemps que je n'ai pas posté sur le blog, il faut dire que la fabrication de cadre est un peu au ralenti en ce moment... J'ai surtout passé du temps a installer mon nouveau marbre en fonte et a fabriquer de l'outillage pour pouvoir controler et aligner les cadres beaucoup plus facilement et precisément.
Sur les photos vous pourrez voir le support de boite pedalier, qui, une fois boulonné au marbre permet de maintenir le cadre parallélement a la surface de reference. J'ai également réalisé un petit support réglable permettant de soutenir le reste du cadre pendant le controle ou l'alignement. D'autre part j'ai pu trouver quelqu'un pour me découper en CNC un gabarit d'alignement. Ce gabarit se monte sur une jauge de hauteur et permet de se caler sur un des tubes du cadre, grace a sa forme en "V", avant d'aller verifier l'écartement et le centrage des pattes arrieres avec l'une des references situees a 120, 130 ou 135mm d'ecartement.
Enfin je suis en train de terminer un faux axe de roue arriere pour mon gabarit de fabrication. Voila quelques images, le reste, avec pas mal d'explication est sur Flickr

It's been a long time since the latest post on this blog, I must admit that framebuilding is a little bit slow these days... I've mostly spent my time in installing my new surface plate, and turning new tools to be able to control and align frames more precisely.
On the pictures you will be able to see the new bottom-bracket post, which, once bolted to the corner of the surface plate maintains the frame parallel to the reference surface. I've also turned a small machinist jack which can be used to support different part of the frames while aligning or controlling it. I've also been able to find somebody who could CNC cut an alignment gauge for me. It's mounted on a standard height gauge, and can be adjusted on one main triangle tube (with the V shape). It can then be used to control the rear dropouts spacing and centering at 120, 130 or 135mm.
