Salut !
Un peu de menuiserie ce week-end, pour finir un fauteuil dans le style "Adirondack" que j'avais commence a preparer la semaine derniere. Il est entierement fait avec d'anciennes etageres recuperees dans notre ancien appartement, et qui etaient recouvertes de papier peint... Un vrai plaisir a poncer ! Heureusement, le bois en dessous est de tres belle qualite.
Sinon j'ai sorti mon premier travail fait sur le tour: un faux axe de roue pour mon nouveau gabarit pour fourche. A lathe is a beautiful thing ! ;-)


Hi ! A little bit of woodworking this week-end, to finish an Adirondack chair I had started last week. It's made entirely from old shelves we had in our last apartment. They were covered with wallpaper, which took a long time to cleanup... Hopefully, the wood beneath is really great.
I also finished my first job on the lathe: a dummy axle for my new fork jig. A lathe is a beautiful thing ! ;-)
