I spent my Sunday afternoon building the 29er. Of course, one stupid thing was missing: I only had one brake cable in stock... So the build should be finished this evening (I also need to cut the fork steerer).
Here is the components list:

  • Wheels: Mavic A719, Hope Pro II SS Hubs, DT SuperComp laced 32x3, Maxxis Ignitor tires
  • RS Reba Race fork
  • Deore XT Hollowtech II Crankset & BB
  • Salsa Chainring 32T
  • On-One Groove Armada SS cog 20T.
  • Thomson Elite Seatpost 27.2 x 410
  • Flite Saddle
  • Race Face Stem 100mm x 5deg. (should be replaced by home made 110mm stem)
  • On-One Mary bar
  • Ritchey scuzzy logic Headset (looking for a Hope to replace it...)
  • XTR levers and V-Brake (rear), Avid BB7 (front)
